Hello, my name is Rajesh Kumar Sharma, a Yoga and Mental Health Therapy Specialist from India. For more than 15 years, I have devoted myself to the path of yoga, integrating modern medical knowledge with the traditional philosophy of India to bring balance to body, mind, and spirit.
My journey began with a foundation in Health & Wellness at Washington University in St. Louis (USA). I then deepened my studies in Yoga Therapy & Meditation at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga and completed my Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy at Banaras Hindu University. These years of study and practice gave me the opportunity to truly understand the healing power of yoga for both physical and mental well-being.
Throughout my career, I have taught at MDNIY New Delhi, collaborated with the Art of Living International Center to bring yoga to global communities, and currently serve as the Director of Yoga Programs at Harmony Yoga Retreat in Goa. My work is not only about teaching yoga, but also about accompanying my students on their journey of balance, healing, and inner growth.
I have a special focus on Yoga Therapy for chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, insomnia, and anxiety, while also developing meditation and stress management programs for corporate settings. To me, yoga is not just physical exercise – it is an art of living, where one can discover peace and inner strength.
Outside of teaching, I spend my time writing, sharing knowledge about yoga, and often retreat to the Ganges River or monasteries for deep meditation practice. I believe that every individual has the power to transform their life through breath, stillness, and patience with oneself.
If you are seeking a path to reconnect with yourself, it would be my honor to guide and support you through the practice of yoga and meditation.
