Hello, I am Dr. Karim Nabil Haddad, a Gastroenterologist currently practicing at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, and through years of study, research, and clinical work both locally and abroad—particularly during my advanced fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the United States—I have gained extensive expertise in diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients with gastrointestinal diseases. My specialization focuses on advanced endoscopy (including ERCP and EUS), management of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as supporting the screening and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers. Alongside my clinical practice, I devote significant time to scientific research and international collaboration with the aim of bringing the latest medical advancements to benefit patients in Lebanon. I provide healthcare services in two formats: online consultations, designed for patients who live far away or require initial advice, chronic disease follow-up, test result interpretation, and home-based digestive health guidance—helping them save time and receive timely, safe, and professional care without needing to visit the hospital; and in-person consultations at my clinic at AUBMC, where I conduct physical examinations, laboratory tests, ultrasounds, and endoscopic procedures to deliver accurate diagnoses and comprehensive treatment in a modern and safe medical environment.
