Hello, I am Dr. Aizhan Serikbayeva, a neurologist, currently working at the National Medical Center of Kazakhstan – Department of Neurology in Astana. I was born and raised in Kazakhstan, and from an early age I developed a passion for medicine – especially Neurology, where intelligence, patience and compassion must always go hand in hand. I graduated from the University of Heidelberg – Faculty of Medicine in Germany in 2014, majoring in Neurology. During my studies and work, I have accumulated extensive experience in diagnosing and treating neurological diseases such as chronic neuropathic pain, movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, chronic headaches, and functional neurological disorders. I have also completed professional certificates in clinical EEG, EMG and advanced treatment methods from Mayo Clinic (USA). With more than a decade of working in this field, I always put professional quality and empathy for patients first.
