Hello, I am Dr. Rafael Costa da Silva, a dermatologist with more than 12 years of experience in diagnosing and treating skin conditions as well as performing cosmetic dermatology procedures. I graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and completed my dermatology residency at Hospital das Clinics, São Paulo, one of Brazil’s leading medical training centers. Afterwards, I pursued a fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatology at the University of Barcelona, where I learned and practiced advanced techniques in skin rejuvenation and modern dermatological procedures.
Throughout my career, I have focused on common conditions such as acne, pigmentation disorders, chronic skin diseases, and signs of skin aging. I believe that healthy skin is not only a reflection of self-confidence but also of overall well-being. For that reason, I combine standard dermatological treatments with safe and effective procedures, such as laser therapy, micro needling, and chemical peels, aiming to provide patients with natural and lasting results.
At Clinics Dermatology Paulist, where I currently practice, my team and I deliver care based on three principles: strong expertise, absolute safety, and patient-centered dedication. I make it a priority to listen carefully, provide thorough explanations, and tailor treatment plans for each patient — because I believe every skin tells a unique story and deserves a personalized solution.
In addition to my private practice, I continue teaching and consulting at Hospital das Clinics, where I share knowledge while learning from ongoing advancements in the field.
